HOLLYWOOD IS AN ISLAND

Jack Nicholson has been quoted as saying, after he had visited Fidel Castro in Havana, "Fidel Castro is a genius." It has  been reported that Steven Spielberg also called Fidel a genius. What, exactly, are their qualifications for making such judgments?  Other than being accomplished members of the film industry, what credentials do they carry to make these statements worthy of our respect so that we accept them as authorities who are capable of determining the ordinary from  a genius, rather than the reality that this bearded buffoon is really a Cuban Cantiflas who's been mistaken for a genius.

 It is difficult to understand how or why either one of these noted Hollywood personalities would be so impressed with such a fakir, unless their statements were preceded with an adjective like the word: EVIL as in EVIL GENIUS.  It seems obvious that this is what he is, what he has proven to be over the past 47 years, simply an evil genius.

Can they be that much deceived that they cannot have seen through his posturing and bragging, that he is like the Emperor who wore no clothes. There are no real accomplishments after nearly a half a century in power, just a long list of failures that have deprived Cubans of the opportunity to improve their nation, grow their economy and to improve their own lives..

TAKE A TOUR OF HOLLYWOOD ONE DAY AND SEE THE HOMES OF THESE MEGA STARS, THOSE WHO TOUT THE SUPPOSED (IMAGINARY) GENIUS OF WINDBAG FIDEL CASTRO AND THE WONDERS OF SOCIALISM.  IN THEIR SUPPORT FOR THE GOVERNMENT IN HAVANA THERE'S A SHOCKING DIFFERENCE BETWEEN HOW THEY LIVE AND HOW THOSE WHO SPEND THEIR LIVES UNDER THE HEEL OF A DICTATOR LIVE THEIRS; THESE DIFFERENCES THE HOLLYWOOD ELITE IGNORE. AS LONG AS THEY HAVE THEIR LUXURIES, THE CARE LITTLE FOR THE CUBAN PEOPLE.

It's easy to understand why so many of Hollywood's notables have been so fascinated with Fidel for the past fifty years, and why the strength of the Liberals among the the movie people;  La Cucaracha is a great actor and has his script prepqared and act down so pat that they accept it as truth.  Hollywood readily believes him while ignoring  the facts that disprove his assertions and his claims. .They live in regal splendor.  They have no fears of losing their wealth.  Those who live under  socialism suffer privations and a total lack of freedom.  The film colony ignores such thing; they considered themselves of the socialists..
