TIRELESS WORKERS FOR A FREE CUBA

 Those who have fled Cuba do not seem to forget her, nor do they forget those whom they have left behind, friends, family, neighbors and co-workers.  The life and the rhythm of Cuba lives on in their hearts, and no matter where they go, they dream of the day when Cuba will be free of the tyranny of a dictator, when men and women can throw off the shackles of the harshness of communist rulers.  Today they're spread across the world, to Mexico, Venezuela, Panama, United States, Spain, Norway, Sweden, and elsewhere.

Some fled by raft, some obtained documents to legally emigrate, while others deserted the Cuban army during fighting in Africa, or when sent on assignments to South America.  Not all believed the lies so typical in a country where the Nation's press has been under rigid control, especially as they are in socialist or communist dictatorship, but many others are enlightened when they visit another country and find things so different than what they have been taught in Cuba's schools and read in Cuba's media. 

Socialism promises something like a paradise for all in the future, but as the years go on, that paradise always remains in the distant future, always ahead, but it never arrives.  It is not here, now and today.  Yes, comrade, it will be so beautiful, tomorrow, just you wait and see.  Tomorrow, tomorrow--as the song goes. 

PARADISO POR CUBANOS

Paradise cannot exist while a nation's citizens are living under the rigid control of a central government, while they are forced to conform to laws and doctrines that torture the mind and lacerate the soul each day of their lives.

Cuba will find the way to be a paradise when the tyranny of Fidel Castro and his brother Raul has been overthrown, when democracy is once again restored to eleven million citizens, and they can restore their own Constitution.

Fidel and Raul Castro are both War Criminals, but the United Nations does not have the moral courage to denounce them; in fact, too many members of the U.N. have the same type of national leaders today, tyrannical murderers. They know that if they take steps to depose the Castro brothers, the precedent set may mean that they too face the same fate.

 

  
In the meantime  
Cubans who have lived under that tyranny want others to know what it is like and they find ways to tell others about it, to warn them, and no where are they more active that on the Net.  With a computer and hooked up to the Internet they reach out to others, speak their minds, keep in touch with each other and warn the world about the evils of Castroism.

Castroism?  Yes, it is his own interpretation of how a country should be run, how people should live, and no one else has a say-so about it.  It is his way and his way alone, no other.  He has convinced Hollywood's elite just how wonderful things would be if everyone did things exactly as he thinks they should be done.  It is his own fantasy world.

HUGO CHAVEZ - It was the Cuban bloggers who warned us about Hugo Chavez years ago, and as they watched, Fidel took Chavez under his wing and taught him How to Be A Dictator.  All the while, Cuban Bloggers in the U.S., and Cuban Bloggers in Venezuela were sounding the alarm, letting South, Central and North America know about this impending danger.  These Cubans had learned their lessons, suffered their lessons and knew full well what was about to unfold, but no one listened to them.

Our most valuable American immigrants, our most solid freedom loving citizens, our most knowledgeable about what grief socialism or communism can inflict upon the people, come from the Cuban community.  Others who have come here from behind the Iron Curtain have been telling us the same thing
